Dixon Mechanical Services is a family owned business that started in 1963 and continues into the third generation of the Dixon family.

Our modern purpose-built premises are based on the South Coast in Ferndown, Dorset. We cover, primarily, Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire and West Sussex which enables us to deliver cost effective and well managed locally run projects. The premises contain our offices, stores, fabrication and workshop facilities.

Working in an evolving industry we have broadened our approach over the years to encompass the full range of mechanical services, including air conditioning, heating, ventilation, water services, gas services, controls and public health services. This has enabled us to meet the demands of a growing client base and proactively respond to changes within the industry.

We manage industrial and commercial mechanical services projects up to a value of £1,500,000 on a pre-designed or a design and build basis. Competitive tendering of Consultant designed specification and drawing packages forms the largest proportion of our operational workload, directly for the client or via a main contractor.

We are able to offer an in house AutoCAD design service and manage your project from design to final completion. As a result of forming established working relationships with local electrical contractors we are able to offer a combined M&E package when required. We regularly hold the role of Principle Contractor when mechanical services installations form the largest part of the project. We can provide full Construction Health & Safety Plans and the site facilities to comply with these requirements.
